i asked her where she got them and she said... granny!
granny gave them to her a couple weeks ago because she never wore them... she said she got them over 20 years ago!
you know that really set my vintage alarm off!
after MUCH persuasion, i managed a trade that allowed the rad granny shades to come home with me.

Oh my WORD ... I love them. :) My red shades are from Wal*Mart ... I'd much prefer them from the 80s!

i traded them for a pair of mine! under the condition that i would give them back if i find another pair i like better in the future! it was a tough battle!

Lol do you ever hate shopping with your mom because you're afraid she'll see something awesome before you and buy it before you can? Because that is what shopping is like with me and my mom...it's a love/hate relationship ;) Oh and I love your hair! Mine is cut similarishly but yours is cuter!
