we got freaked!

we use glass bottles for finn (dr. brown's to be exact), and as he is getting to be more independent i have recently realized that some sort of bottle cover or protector would be nice to have around.

unfortunately, i wasn't able to find a glass bottle cover offered by dr. brown's.

more fortunately, i was able to find glass bottle covers that work perfectly for dr. brown's bottles, and are freakin' awesome.

billy and i lived many years in wilmington, nc, and much of our family and most of our friends still live down there.  so, i heard about freakers through the grapevine... a local wilmington company that designs these awesome knit sleeves for bottles.  they can be used for beer bottles, water bottles, many kinds of bottles, so i wondered... what about baby bottles?

i asked my friend lz (holla!), who is a freaker fan and friend, and she told me that freakers most definitely could be used for baby bottles!  i decided to order a couple, and we got them in the mail today.  i couldn't be more happy!!

they fit both sizes of finn's bottles perfectly! 
they are soft, insulating, and do a great job of protecting the glass.
also, they look rad.
and finn loves them!

i think they would be great for any baby bottles, even if you don't use glass. 
they keep milk warmer longer, and finn seems fascinated by the texture and the bright designs.
you could also steal them from your baby to keep your beers cold.
once he goes to bed, of course.
