his very first birthday, to be exact.
i know big themey first birthday parties are very trendy right now, but we like to keep things old school around here. family, cupcakes, maybe some paper cone hats. the good stuff :)
i decided to make some little invitations with things i had around the house today...
yellow cardstock leftover from our save-the-dates, crayons, and yarn.
they turned out perfect.

LOVE the simplicity! I've gone to so many parties where it's SO overdone that the mother is exhausted and completely annoyed that the kids don't appreciate it. Ummm...they're babies people! I love how down to earth you are about it all.
