What it's all about

tot lot.

i had about a thousand things i could do in the house today, but then something awesome happened.

it was 60 degrees outside. in pennsylvania. in january.

there are no words for how thankful i am for a mild winter!  and it's almost over! ahhh!

so i skipped the house chores and we headed over to this little tot lot right down the street.
the last time we went there was st. patrick's day 2011.  finn was one week old.
i pushed him around very slowly in his little stroller with billy and tucker by my side, still sore from my c-section.  i was so proud of my little family!
this trip was much different, but oh so much fun!

look at those dirty fingernails!

finn really enjoyed himself.  and i laughed so much watching him just eat it all up.
it was the first time he had ever been on the swings or down a slide before.
unfortunately, i realized after the fact that mr. wilde seems to have his daddy's stomach.
he blew chunks about 30 seconds after he got off the swing.

billy has a pretty weak stomach.
my favorite billy weak stomach story has nothing to do with motion sickness, but he gets that too.
it goes back to when we first started dating.
he accidentally said "i love you" to me in the car, for the first time, and we had only been dating a little over a month.  i forget exactly how it went down, but i think i changed the radio station or something and then it went like this...
"ahhh i hate you!"
"what, you hate me?"
"no, i mean i don't hate you, i love you, i ju....ahhh...umm..."
and then he turned green and kind of dry heaved.  seriously.
i was laughing so hard i could barely tell him that i loved him too.

it wasn't like i was pushing finn on the swing to extreme heights.  i mean i was barely budging him.  this was kind of the progression of green-ness:

Wow! This is... neat!

Swinging!!!

Hi Mom! I'm swinging!

Woahh... i'm... suhhwiingggingg....

ehhh.... this is... fun?

wooooosh

nuh- uh.  nope.

woahh. feels bad.  tummy feels bad.
hahaha.
ohh, poor baby.
he really did have a good time though, i promise.
next time maybe i'll pack some saltines and dramamine.
