i swear, i have had the best luck with ordering area rugs on overstock.com.
i found this one for $70, and it's just perfect!
the color is called "moss" so we thought it would be perfect for the travel/nature theme in the nursery. and it is!
it's also super soft, and slightly bigger than i expected.
i think it really helps tie the room together and make it a little bit more cozy.
what do you think?

I love the whole room! You are too creative. Everything works perfectly together. I don't like the baby room in a box feel and this is all so homemade. Everything is great!

hahaha, i'm sure i looked pretty comical. but the rug looks so cool from this angle! like an alien planet or something! or a character from sesame street!
Where did you find that tree fabric for the bumper and the throw pillow on the day bed? I reeeeaally love that print.
